How to create a windows desktop shortcut to run JMaker
  1. Right-click on your desktop
  2. Choose New
  3. Choose Shortcut
  4. For the location type C:\JDK6\bin\java.exe jmaker1.JMaker1 (see notes below)
  5. For the name of the shortcut you can type JMaker
  6. Click Finish

If you right-click on your new shortcut and choose Properties you should see something like this:


  • Your JDK location may be different. C:\JDK6\ was used in this example.
  • Changing the Start in: shortcut property will set the working directory.
